Homemade AC duct adapter
(August 2025)

Unexpectedly got an AC unit, but could not exhaust the hot air out easily since the duct is round. Fortunately, it came with an adaptor for an oblong shape that I can then mount an adaptor onto. So I made an adapter that would fit this first oblong adaptor on one end, and my window on the other end.

It will be printed in PLA, which can easily deform with temperature. So I added ribs (in yellow) for structural rigidity and air guidance.

Since this is too big for my 3D printers, I ordered it from JLCPCB. I usually order PCBs and PCBAs from JLCPCB, but this printed part came mostly fine.
